The Cottage - the 5th project for Hotel Belles Rives is the re-design and refurbishment of an independent 52m2 villa and its 28m2 terrace comprising of; 2 bedrooms with a separate bathroom and WC.
The brief is to convert it into a 2 bed, 2 bath (ensuite) with a new open plan kitchen/lounge offering self catering service to Hotel Belles Rives' clientele.

THE RE-DESIGN - requires to completely reconfigure the existing layout, adding an extra bathroom, making the bedroom(s) ensuite, an open plan kitchen & lounge with a fully equipped kitchen. New plumbing, electric, lighting, cooling and new windows, as well as upgrading the Cottage with the latest necessary 5* hotel ratings.

Site Investigation revealed original terracotta floor under the carpet which will be re-instated in the new design.
Option to exposed the existing timber beam roof structure was considered but rejected after careful evaluation with the clients.

WITH its partial sea view, THE TERRACE, will be upgraded to become a principal room of the Cottage in which to relax and entertain during the day with as well as in the evening when the terrace converts to a private outdoor cinema with a portable short-throw projector and retractable projection screen.
